A simple Italian Bread recipe for a bread machine uses
1 1/2 cups of warm water
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of sugar
4 cups of bread flour
2 1/2 teaspoons of yeast
This makes a 2 pound loaf
